What better way to start a blog than this?
I was reading through some of the newslinks on Dial-the-truth.com (Link: http://av1611.org/index.html) and apart from feelings akin to heartburn at the painful statements being made by such righteous groups as the ACLU, I couldn't help but copy-paste some of the most obvious examples of liberal naivete for you to enjoy. Warning: keep the Pepto Bismol nearby.
This first news story will tell you about how parents have no right to control, or even be prepared for what the public school is teaaching children:
http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=54241
Note particularly these paragraphs:
"Parker was represented by lawyers Jeffrey Denner, Robert Sinsheimer and Neil Tassel, who argued before Judge Mark Wolf that what the school calls "diversity training" more accurately would be called "indoctrination," since several viewpoints were absent from the school's presentations, and only the pro-homosexual position was present."
AND
"An ACLU lawyer, however, told the judge that "it is a tremendous bonus" for children to be given information of which their parents wouldn't approve, and that teaching children homosexuality when their parents' Biblical beliefs do not support that has nothing to do with a violation of religious freedom, according to the MassResistance.org reports"
So apparently now it's a bonus for schools to "give information" to children concerning things they don't understand. But wait- aren't children too impressionable to be exposed to views "considered dangerous and hate-filled"?
See: http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=54150 regarding a clear decision to keep Bibles away from schoolchildren.
Further, apparently the cross has become oppressive to some people: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17386493/
But of course, we wouldn't want ANYONE's personal religious faith to be suppressed, yet:
http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/article-23381527-details/Now+a+school+bans+13-year-old+from+wearing+crucifix/article.do
The very idea that groups like the ACLU (Aggregate Communists Leading us to Unbelief) will promote "diversity" in schools and push for schools to be allowed to promote things like homosexuality and evolution while openly DENYING personal advertisement of Christianity is so hypocritical it hurts. These people want to live in a world where anything except God is pursued with full public assent and acclaim. This is typical idolatrous human reasoning but the fallout is growing so much worse.
You can not tout religious freedom so long as you are denying the freedoms of Christians. It is very obviously illogical. It is the real hate crime.
Speaking of hate crimes, look forward to my next post concerning the H.O.R.'s bill 254 pushing to expand the "hate crimes" legislation to include speaking against homosexuality (repercussions already assessed: Arrest of a minister in pennsylvania).
May God be with us all
